Applications
DART is the ideal technology for completing qualitative analysis of a wide variety of complex samples positioned along the axis between the exit of the DART source and the inlet of the mass spectrometer. Ionization occurs at atmospheric pressure in air. The sample is not exposed to high voltage or electrical discharge. Gases, liquids, and very low pressure analytes deposited on surfaces are effectively ionized as are molecules in solution.
