Rapid determination of formulations can be accomplished by using the DART SVP TLC paper holder to scan the sample after it has been sprayed or deposited on filter paper. In this experiment we expelled a single spray from two different inhalers onto the paper.

The mass chromatogram of the protonated API molecule is shown in the figure. The analysis required less than 2 minutes to complete.
