Nitrogen Gas Dart SVP

The new SVP Cartridge is now standard on out commercial DART source. The performance of this cartridge when using Nitrogen as a carrier gas is improved vs. the original DART cartridge as shown below.

Results and Discussions: Cartridge Comparisons

Results of ionization of the pesticide Acephate using the original DART are shown on the left. The result is a mass spectrum with poor signal-to-noise for the protonated analyte and significant number of background ions. Using the new SVP cartridge the mass spectrum of the same molecule is observed with little background and stronger signal-to-noise.
